The scanner is free and stays free. The token funds the part that costs money to run: continuous scanning across seven chains, the developer registry, and the archive that makes reverse fund tracing possible.
The token is not an investment product. It carries no claim on revenue, no ownership, and no promise of return. Nothing on this site is financial advice.
Paste the address
A contract address on any of seven chains is enough. No wallet connection, no sign-up.
The contract is queried
Honeypot, mint, ownership and freeze privileges, taxes and the liquidity lock are all read.
Wallets are opened up
The top 10 wallets are pulled; locked pools and exchanges are filtered out and bundle clusters are searched for.
The score comes with reasons
Every finding shows exactly how many points it cost. No black box.
Most people who lose money to a token lose it to one that was readable before they bought. The signals were on-chain the whole time. Nobody had put them in one place, in plain language, with the arithmetic shown.
Mission
Put every risk signal that can be measured on-chain in front of the person about to buy — in one report, in their language, with every deduction shown. Free, without a wallet connection, without an account.
Vision
A public record of the people who launch tokens. A contract can be redeployed in minutes; a reputation cannot. Every scan adds to an archive of deployer wallets, funding paths and launch patterns, so the same operator is recognised on their next launch — not after it.
We never say safe
The absence of known risk signals is not the absence of risk. We report signals, never verdicts, and we say so on every report.
The arithmetic is public
Every finding shows exactly what it cost the score, and the full penalty table is published. A number you cannot audit is worth nothing.
Free access to the scanner
No wallet connection, no sign-up, no paywall. A safety tool that only paying users can reach protects nobody.
Limits stated plainly
What the tool cannot catch is published on the same page as what it can. A developer who sells later will not be caught by a contract scan, and we say it.
The labels in this list are a first pass, not a score: running a full security query for every token here would burn through the free quota in minutes. Tap a row and the full audit runs for that token.
RugScan does not remove risk, it changes the odds. It never calls a token safe; it only tells you which known risk signals are present and which are not.
The developer who sells later
A token with a clean contract, locked liquidity and reasonable distribution can still collapse the day its developer sells. There is no on-chain sign of that beforehand.
The score is a snapshot
If ownership has not been renounced, the rules can change five minutes from now. It shows the state at the moment you ran the scan, not afterwards.
The professional with a fresh wallet
A token launched from a brand-new wallet with no history looks clean in the record. That is why a separate «wallet is two days old, no history» warning exists.
The bonding curve phase
On platforms like pump.fun there is no classic LP pool until the token migrates, so the liquidity lock check gives no meaningful result there.
Scoring engine and audit report
LIVEThe 18-finding audit, holder panel and bundle detection are running.
Developer record
IN PROGRESSFinding who launched the token and pulling that wallet's history: how many tokens, how many died, what the average lifespan was.
Reverse fund tracing
NEXTWithdrawing from an exchange is anonymous, but the deposit address is unique to a person. Two launches paying into the same deposit address are the same person.
Record archive
NEXTEvery scan will accumulate dev wallets, deposit addresses and bundle patterns. That archive becomes impossible to copy over time.
